My mother used this when entertaining guests from overseas at her home. It's a thick cotton tablecloth, like the kind used on reception tables at hotel weddings. The floral weave pattern isn't very visible in the photos, but it covers the entire surface. It's been returned from the dry cleaners and stored for a long time, so it has many fold lines, but it will be crisp after ironing.
