I used this for De Quervain's tenosynovitis, which affects the tendons at the base of the thumb. I forgot the size, but it fits a woman with larger hands perfectly, and it's too small for men. I felt a strong level of support, but it seems to vary from person to person. Buying a new one at a store is quite expensive, so please try it out to see how it works for you.
