It's a 3/4 size B♭ tuba, and its compact size allows for a relatively quick response despite being a rotary valve instrument. It was also very easy to handle and carry. When I bought it, I was torn between this and a Jupiter front-action model, but I chose this one because it had a richer B♭ sound. I used it in a brass band and a Dixieland band. There are a few small dents that are difficult to see in the pictures, some minor lacquer imperfections, and a mark where a coin was attached to the 4th valve lever, but it's in pretty good condition overall. As a custom modification, the main tuning slide has been nickel-plated, which gives it a slightly firmer feel when playing, and the screw that secures the mouthpiece receiver has been changed to black carbon steel. (The original screw is missing.) You occasionally see front-action models for sale used, but rotary valve models are rare, so if you've been looking for one, please take this opportunity. The original hard case and a Galax custom soft case are included. The keychains and patches have been removed from the soft case. If you don't need the soft case, I can deduct 20,000 yen if you let me know in advance.
