It is a CRT display device using a cathode-ray tube, not an LCD. ※The striped pattern in the image does not appear on the actual screen. This is a so-called moiré pattern. In the late 1990s when the PowerMac G3 was released, CRT monitors, which were more common than LCDs, had a tendency for the corners to be slightly blurred and the screen to be curved. Meanwhile, Sony's Trinitron and Mitsubishi's Diamondtron achieved flat or semi-flat screens with vivid rendering even in the corners. This monitor is a classic example of that lost technology. The image output is good.
