This is a set of two small bowls by Sanshin Otani (Shinzo Otani) of Kurashiki Glass. They were stored for a long time at my grandmother's house, but I am selling some of them to organize because I have too many to use. I think the charm of Mr. Otani's work is that you can feel the strength within the gentle roundness. Because they are handmade folk crafts, the size of each one is different, and the air bubbles and carbon inclusions that occur during the manufacturing process are also attractive.
