This is a half-cup katakuchi sake vessel, handcrafted by an artisan, featuring an earthy form, brushstroke patterns, and iron glaze. The gradations of the iron glaze and the brushstroke painting create a beautiful, natural aesthetic. It's from the Showa era, but in very good condition.
