This is a 1940s watch from USN BUSHIPS (United States Navy Bureau of Ships). It was issued to the Navy and has a black dial almost identical to the Army version, with "USN BUSHIPS" printed on it, and the word "Hamilton" printed inconspicuously in black above it. The aging is very cool. This model was issued to Navy crew members, and it didn't have any special water resistance features just because it was for the Navy; its specifications were the same as the Army's. I bought it about a year ago from a vintage military shop in London for around 150,000 yen and have never used it. I've only looked at it. I purchased it after it had been overhauled. <Condition/Scratches> The watch is running smoothly and keeping good time. Daily accuracy: + approximately 1 to 2 minutes (measured value) As this is an antique item, the accuracy may vary depending on the position and wearing conditions, so please understand this as a reference only. The strap has been replaced with a deadstock one that cost around 10,000 yen. There is also a new replacement strap. <Size etc.> Brand: Hamilton Movement: Cal.748 Manual winding Case: Stainless steel Dial color: Black Size Including crown: Approximately 36mm Excluding crown: Approximately 32mm Thickness: Approximately 11mm The color of the product may differ depending on the photography equipment, computer, smartphone, or other environment.
