This is a rare "Ike Jacket" (M-1944 Field Jacket), a short-length wool military jacket adopted by the U.S. Army during World War II in the 1940s. It is famous for being named after General Eisenhower's nickname, "Ike," as he was a frequent wearer. The snap fasteners on the back are also rare Scovill brand, and the tag includes the production year and stock number. Although it's over 80 years old, the surface condition of the jacket is good and relatively clean. Please be aware of minor stains and scratches. Notable issues include a missing first button and a small moth hole on the inside facing of the third button (see images 11 and 12).
