A handmade item of 100% wool will last a lifetime. Hand wash in lukewarm water in the spring and dry flat in the shade, and it can be used for generations. Hand washed in lukewarm water with Acron, spread out on a flat drying net hung in the bathroom, and dried in the washing machine dryer.
