This is a German-made Werner Birth 4/4 violin from 1969, made for the domestic market. It uses the highest quality spruce and maple. [Labeled "in GDR" for export] At 352mm, it's a slightly smaller size, recommended for those of smaller stature. It's closer to a medium arch than a low arch, but it's difficult to capture in photos... There is a crack in one place on the top plate, but it has of course been repaired and is ready to play immediately. The rest has also been fully adjusted, so you can play it right away. As it is an instrument from nearly 60 years ago, please understand that there may be minor scratches, etc. before purchasing. It will be sent in an inexpensive case worth 8,000 yen.
