It can protect gear that you don't want to get wet from water ingress. Microfleece is sewn on the inside, so when sleeping, you can turn the bag inside out and stuff soft items like clothing to create an instant pillow. It has a pleasant feel against the skin, and you can adjust the firmness and loft by changing what you stuff inside. The difference in specifications compared to the standard size (+6g/+2.6L) should be considered in terms of the volume of items you stuff inside. The pillow's performance cannot be fully realized unless it is packed with a certain amount of contents. The amount of clothing you don't wear while sleeping is a good benchmark.
