A small, palm-sized hardcover book. It contains detailed explanations and color illustrations of 69 different tartan checks. The advertisements from tartan check manufacturers at the beginning and end of the book are interesting. My grandfather's signature is on the inside back cover. It's dated August 30, 1959, but I don't know if it was a new or used book at the time of purchase. Publication year unknown. As it is an old book, the cover is torn and stained.
