It is a recycled, professionally cleaned silk visiting kimono, but it is unused after processing. This is made with the intention of being used as a half-collar. It is made from the plain part of the visiting kimono (with a diamond pattern). It is approximately 99 cm long and 17 cm wide, made of silk. In my subjective opinion, the color is a calm brown (also feels reddish, perhaps a grape brown), and I think it's a good color to use as an accent, even as an inner collar (kasane-eri).
