Perhaps it was the sense of security from the slightly curved back, or maybe the rounded shape at the feet reminded the baby of being in the womb, but it often helped the baby sleep when they wouldn't sleep in the baby bed. The incline can be adjusted, making it good for preventing milk from coming back up. The fabric parts can be removed and washed, so it's clean. It's a very good product, but because the baby started rolling over and rolling the bed with them, we had to stop using it once the baby learned to roll over... I'm sadly letting it go.
