This is a Nishijin-ori Karaori Uchikake (a type of traditional Japanese wedding coat). Rental shops offer these for around 400,000 yen. It's a Karaori Uchikake in vermillion with a pattern of imperial court carriages and seasonal flowers, making it a very beautiful piece. As it is Karaori, there are some loose threads, but there are no noticeable stains or blemishes, and it's in very good condition. Please forgive any oversights.
