Developed by Dimps, who also created the well-received Dragon Ball (Childhood) action game on the GBA. Despite being made by Dimps and based on One Piece, this action game was strangely never released in Japan. This work follows the early part of One Piece. Since it's the early stages, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji are the crew members. The enemy characters and supporting characters also bring back a sense of nostalgia. The action is, as you'd expect from Dimps, who developed the Dragon Ball games, and they've faithfully recreated Luffy's rubber-human abilities. He can use moves like Gum-Gum Pistol, Gatling, Rocket, Bell, and Bazooka. You can also fly with Gum-Gum Rocket, deflect bullets with Gum-Gum Balloon, and even float in the air. The details of the rubber-human abilities are meticulously recreated, such as Luffy's arm stretching when swinging with momentum.
