Thank you for viewing! ARABIA Blue Kosmos Coffee C/S This is a rare Blue Kosmos coffee C/S, manufactured only for a short period in 1966. It's a S model designed by Ulla Procope, which is also popular in Japan. Each piece is hand-painted by artisans, and the varying line thickness and color tones are unique to hand-painting. The stunning, eye-catching blue color characteristic of Blue Kosmos is a must-see. Blue Kosmos was originally produced for export to other countries, and its construction and other aspects may differ. Please understand that the standards for authentic items may be lower than those manufactured for the Finnish domestic market. However, as shown in photo 8, there is a pattern (inside the glaze) on the inner bottom of the cup that looks like a firing mark. Photos 9-13 show the cup sides and handle, photo 14 shows the bottom of the cup, photo 15 shows the center of the saucer, photos 16 and 17 show the navy lines, and photo 18 is an enlarged image of the back of the saucer. There are some scratches and minor scratches that can be seen depending on the angle, and there is also a paint loss on the cup in one place (left side of photo 11), so please enlarge the images to check. The beautiful blue color unique to Blue Kosmos makes scratches more noticeable, but this item has passed the export standards, and the scratches are not as noticeable as in the images. However, if you are at all concerned, please refrain from purchasing.
