I was able to watch it, so please purchase if you are okay with it being viewable. The case has been replaced with a new one. A much-talked-about film directed by Ozu Yasujiro, based on a script written by the duo of Ozu and Kogo Noda, who had not worked together since "Early Spring." It depicts the passionate emotions of a daughter seeking her mother, who betrayed her father and ran away from home. The cinematography is by Yuharu Atsuta of "I'll Buy You." The film stars Ineko Arima of "The Porcelain Man," Setsuko Hara of "The Saga of the O-Ban," Isuzu Yamada of "The Rowdy Road," and Chishu Ryu of "Face (1957)." Other cast members include Teiji Takahashi of "Virgin in Passion - Time of Angels," Haruko Sugimura of "The Near and the Distant," Masami Taura of "The Righteous," as well as So Yamamura, Shinzo Shin, Nobuo Nakamura, Seiji Miyaguchi, Kumeko Urabe, Eiko Miyoshi, Kamatari Fujiwara, Junji Masuda, Teruko Nagaoka, and veterans.
