It is characterized by fine vertical stripes and checkered patterns, often in a calm indigo color. Made of durable cotton, it was used for kimonos, monpe (work pants), and work clothes. It has a simple and retro atmosphere and is popular as old cloth and a remake material. *Antique indigo-dyed cloth is fabric created by hand, from the cultivation of indigo to the dyeing process, in a shop.* Each piece is carefully handmade with care.
