This is a solid keyaki (Japanese zelkova) vase brought back from my grandparents' home. It was displayed in the Japanese-style room at my grandparents' home. I was told it's quite old, but I'm not certain as my grandparents are elderly! It was displayed as an ornament, and they said it was never used as a vase. There should normally be something like a water container inside the hole in the middle, but it's not there, so please use something else if you intend to use it as a vase! I think the wood grain is beautiful because it's different on various sides... This is just my amateur opinion. It feels quite heavy. Please examine the images carefully yourself to assess the design, size, and condition, and consider your purchase accordingly. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection or are overly concerned about minor details, as this item has been stored for a long time!
