Accessories ● Universal power cable Overview The S-3-way is a 1U rack-size analog electronic crossover that can be switched between 2-way/3-way stereo and 4-way (or 4-Way Low) mono modes. It includes all the management functions needed for practical operation, such as Linkwitz-Riley 24dB/Oct filters, a maximum delay of 2ms (low-range time alignment), CD horn EQ, peak limiter, and phase inversion/mute for each band. Main Features Mode Switching: Select Stereo 2-Way/Stereo 3-Way/Mono 4-Way/Mono 4-Way Low with the front panel mode switch. The panel indicators show the corresponding controls according to the mode. Crossover: Linkwitz-Riley 24 dB/Oct (good phase characteristics, flat in synthesis). The frequency range can be expanded with the x10 range switch (e.g., 35–800Hz → 350Hz–8kHz). A dedicated range is also available for 4-Way Low. Delay: Up to approximately 2ms (low range) for time alignment of stacks. CD Horn EQ: Equipped with Constant Directivity EQ that corrects frequencies above 3.5kHz (corrects high-frequency roll-off of horns). Peak Limiter: Built-in limiter effective for all bands, independent threshold, and peak LED. Effective for speaker protection. High-Pass (Subsonic) Filter: There are differences in the specifications depending on the version, but both the specification description of 15Hz/18dB (3rd) and the function description of 25Hz/12dB (Butterworth) are found in the manual (possible differences in printing or revisions). Each Band Control: Equipped with ±6dB gain, mute, and phase inversion (180°) for Low/Mid/High. The input gain is ±12dB, with a 4-segment LED input meter and peak display.
