Indigo blue kimono made by Nakajima Tsurukichi I believe it's shijira weave. Is it Ise katagami (stencil dyeing)? Or katazome (stencil dyeing)? The indigo is beautiful. Fine sashiko stitching is applied throughout, giving it a smooth, cool feel. The material is cotton. There are some discolored areas, such as under the collar, but I think it adds to the character and is interesting. Bachi-eri (a type of collar) Can be worn as a yukata or a kimono. It feels very smooth and comfortable. Unused? With the basting stitches still in place. Measurements: Length: 4 shaku 2 sun 5 bu (161 cm) 裄 (Sleeve length): 1 shaku 7 sun 0 bu (64.5 cm) I think there's about 4.5 cm of extra fabric tucked in. 2 cm in the sleeves and 2.5 cm in the shoulders.
