It can be used for clean boosting, and it offers twice the gain of a standard TS-9. It has been modified to true bypass using a high-quality 3PDT switch, eliminating concerns about tone degradation caused by buffered bypass circuits. The op-amp has been changed to JRC4558P, and the capacitors and resistors have been adjusted to an optimal balance. JHS has grown in scale, and they probably don't do this kind of modification very often anymore. With twice the gain of the normal version, it distorts well. Moreover, the picking nuances are not sacrificed, which is impressive. The TONE has a wide range, and it's good even at 0. Even if you use the GAIN at around 11 o'clock, you can feel the headroom, which is nice. Genuine product imported by Kyoritsu Corporation.
