This is a wooden kokeshi doll with black hair and a red floral pattern. The back has a hot spring mark and the word "Asamushi" written on it, so it is likely a souvenir from Asamushi Onsen. The name "Sanpei" is written on the back. There are some small scratches here and there, and a line on the right side of the face, where the paint has come off. It has been in my home for about 50 years. It has been stored in the storage room for over 20 years.
