This is a bronze (copper) ink pad case by Mr. Seibo Kitamura. The artist's signature, "Seibo Saku," is engraved on the front of the case. The ink pad had dried out over time and was unusable, so I removed it as carefully as possible to avoid scratches. The case was also stored in a paulownia wood box, so I believe there are no noticeable scratches or chips. You could use it as an ink pad case, or as a small item container or paperweight; it would have a nice feel either way. The case itself is approximately 5.8 cm in diameter and 2 cm in height. The paulownia wood box is approximately 8.3 cm by 3.3 cm.
