In Shirahama, Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, we raise Polys Brown, U-keikei (Silkie), Araucana, Okazaki Kohan, Hinai-dori, Shamo (Japanese Gamefowl), Brahma, and Hy-Line chickens from eggs in a free-range environment. These eight breeds are crossbred. Because the natural preservation layer (cuticle layer) of the eggs is removed, we ship them unwashed at room temperature. Therefore, these eggs have a high probability of hatching if you have an incubator. We lightly wipe off any dirt with a towel, but if you are concerned, please wash them yourself before storing. For your reference, we hatched 16 out of 17 eggs in our home incubator in March. However, these are sold for consumption only, and we cannot guarantee hatching.
