It appears to have hardly been used, and is overall very clean. There are almost no scratches. As expected of genuine leather, it sounds great. I think it's probably a single-ply skin. The sanshin body itself is also quite heavy and feels solid. There are no gaps between the neck and the body, and it's assembled tightly. The color and pattern of the snakeskin are beautiful, and the grains and shapes are uniform, so I think it's a pretty good skin. Various sanshin are listed, but personally, I think this is a beautiful and solid sanshin that I'm glad I bought. It's very easy to play. I will also include a bamboo uma (bridge) and a bach (plectrum) that appears to be made of water buffalo horn. The stand is not included. The color may vary depending on the lighting during the photo shoot, and it also differs depending on the monitor you are viewing it on. It's very beautiful, but it's still a used item, so please understand that there may be oversights. I will wrap it in bubble wrap and ship it in a reused cardboard box. Please contact the shipping company if there is any damage during shipping; I will not be able to handle it.
