Fender Mexico Pawn Shop Mustang Special Lake Placid Blue Made between 2012 and 2013 The Pawn Shop Mustang Special features a classic offset Mustang body and a 24-inch short-scale neck. It has a '60s C-shape neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius for comfortable playability. Furthermore, the hardtail Stratocaster bridge provides stable tuning and accurate intonation. This guitar also features two Fender Enforcer "Wide Range" humbucker pickups. Each pickup has a 3-way coil-splitting switch, allowing you to select either coil individually or both. This is a limited-edition 2012-2013 model Mustang Special, which is hard to find these days. It will be shipped in a non-original hard case as shown in the photos, packed in a cardboard box. The frets are approximately 70% remaining, and there are no noticeable issues such as buzzing. The truss rod can also be adjusted without problems. Regarding the appearance, there are some dents and scratches as shown in the photos, but they do not affect playability at all and are not very noticeable. The wide-range humbuckers have plenty of power and can handle American rock and grunge without any problems. When switched to single-coil mode, the volume drops slightly, but if you compensate with your effects pedals, you can get a clear, crisp sound somewhere between a Stratocaster and a Cyclone. Currently, if you search online, you can find similar models from Fender Japan, but it's likely that only the neck was changed.
