This is a direct sequel to "Azure Striker Gunvolt," which was released in 2014 as a Nintendo 3DS download-only software, and "Azure Striker Gunvolt 2," released in 2016. This authentic 2D action game allows players to switch between the new protagonist "Kiririn" and Gunvolt, the protagonist of the series. It retains the series' popular high-speed and high-tension action and the live novel feature where conversations progress during the action. As a new element, it adds over 150 "Image Pulses," which feature past characters that support the action. As before, Keiji Inafune (CCO of LEVEL5 comcept Co., Ltd.) is in charge of executive production and action supervision. This Nintendo Switch software for current-generation consoles offers evolved action and presentation. ■ Story In the near future, humans who have awakened to a special power called the Seventh Wave (Sevens) and Seventh Wave (Sevens) ability users have begun to appear. The conflict with the multinational ability user alliance "Eden" ended thanks to Gunvolt and others.
