Made from a komon fabric purchased at a recycle shop. The photos aren't great, but the outer fabric has a chic wave pattern, as seen in the second photo. The lining of the long bag is white fabric also purchased as fabric. It has a very beautiful woven pattern of cranes. It's so lovely, it makes me smile every time I open and close it. The body bag is made from the hakke (lining of the kimono) of another kimono. The photos show a Tsugaru shamisen inside. The shamisen is not included. Materials: Outer fabric: Silk (Komon) Lining: Long bag - Silk (white fabric) Body bag - Unknown (hakke of another kimono) Handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this. Here are my personal thoughts... When a shamisen rests, the sound can become muffled, but I feel like it gives a good sound the more you play it. However, I feel like storing it in a silk long bag and body bag allows it to produce a good sound from the first strike. (*^^*)
