This is a headphone cable for the SONY MDR-MV1, made by Brise Audio, with a 4.4mm balanced connection. The mid-range becomes more prominent, making the soundstage feel more three-dimensional. The cable is quite stiff, but since I don't plan on carrying it around, it shouldn't be too much of a concern.
