I finally finished it! This is exactly what I wanted to make! (*^^*) The outer fabric is a plain, unpatterned kimono (with a crest) that I got from a recycle shop. It's a very elegant color and has a nice texture. I think the third photo is the closest to the actual color. The lining is from a man's nagajuban (long undergarment) that I got from a recycle shop. It's silk. There was no sign of use, but it had a fabric smell, so I washed it twice. The lining for the doubukuro (body bag) is made from the lining of the same nagajuban. There are sewing marks and creases. I think there are almost no stains. Materials: Long bag: Outer: Silk Lining: Silk Doubukuro (body bag): Outer: Silk Lining: Unknown The photos show the Tsugaru shamisen inside the doubukuro, and then inside the long bag. The shamisen is not included. This is handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this.
