I haven't cut the small scraps into squares, as I think they can be used for things like strings or tabs, just as they are. ⭕️Sizes are measured flat, and basically, I measure at the shortest point. Measurements are in 1 cm increments, so for example, even if it's 21.9 cm, I write 21 cm.
