Approximately 24cm in length. Made in Birmingham, England by ELKINGTON & CO. A set of two silver-plated dinner knives / fish knives. The blades are hallmarked. One has a diamond-shaped mark with "P" indicating manufacture in 1854, and the other has a diamond-shaped mark with "V" indicating manufacture in 1860. These are products from the mid-19th century, about 160 years old! The material of the handles is unknown, but I believe it is resin. Both have a mark of an angel? or unicorn? One handle has a crack and brown staining, but it does not wobble. Although there are minor scratches from age, overall they are in good condition. Please refrain from individual price reductions.
