This is a Pioneer cassette tape deck, model CT-X8W. It's a Showa-era cassette tape deck that my father, a collector of audio equipment, owned for many years. According to my father, it was originally part of a set with a record player, amplifier, and radio. It powers on, but neither side of the cassette tape deck plays. When the play button is pressed, it turns off automatically after a few seconds. I think the motor runs, but the belt is probably broken. It's a junk item, so it's suitable for someone who can repair cassette decks.
