【Excellent Condition】Kobe Motomachi Ichibankan Ceramic Trinket Box House Ornament Sugar Pot Showa Retro This ceramic trinket box is in the shape of a house. It would look lovely just as a display piece. Approximately 8 cm wide, 7 cm deep, and 12 cm high. This is a house-shaped container that originally held Pomme d'Amour chocolates from Kobe Motomachi Ichibankan. It's an item from about 40 years ago. The very popular Pomme d'Amour chocolates were sold as gifts in these ceramic containers back then. The ceramic construction is sturdy, and it's cute as an interior decoration. The opening in the roof makes it the perfect size for a sugar pot. It can also be used as a candy box or a trinket box. After receiving the chocolates as a gift, I stored it without using it. The storage condition is excellent, with no cracks, chips, or flaws. There is some paint peeling on the inside part that is visible when the roof is removed. It's not noticeable when the lid is on, but please consider this vintage/antique item with understanding.
