This is a fava bean incense container crafted by Hideyuki Kawagishi, the son of Mitsumasa Kawagishi, a prominent figure in Wajima's dry lacquer tradition. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, and it is in beautiful condition. The accompanying box shows slight yellowing and minor scuffs, but is in good condition. It has been stored in a dark room.
