This cardigan is made in the USA, inspired by vintage lettered cardigans from the 1940s. I bought it new about 15 years ago, but I've only worn it about 5 times, so it's in good condition. The top button is the type that you extend a hidden string to hook it (vintage lovers might know this). Also, there's an extra button on the inside of the shawl collar (above the top button), which is probably a spare.
