This is a first edition copy of "Waga Seishun no Machi" (My Town of Youth) by Shirō Ozaki, published by Kawade Shobo Shinsha in 1963. It includes a signed inscription from the author. The inscription is addressed to Tetsutaro Kawakami, a well-known literary critic, making this a rare book. The author, famous for "Jinsei Gekijo" (Life's Theater), writes about the towns where he spent his youth in this travelogue-like work, making it an interesting read for understanding the red-light districts and townscapes of the time. I purchased it from a used bookstore previously and have read it once. It comes with its original slipcase and obi (paper band), and its condition is remarkably good, considering it's over 60 years old.
