This is a Les Paul Standard type guitar with heavy relic and aging processing. Although it has a G-brand decal on the headstock, it is not made by Gibson. According to the maker, it was likely made by a Japanese manufacturer around the 1990s. The materials are maple and mahogany, just like the original Les Paul, and the construction and all the parts (all gold) have been aged to replicate the effects of aging. It is also equipped with Seymour Duncan SH-2 & TB-4 pickups, so in my subjective opinion, distinguishing the sound from the original would be at the level of a celebrity sound check! Originally, I owned this guitar to avoid the risk of bringing out a Gibson in situations where I would hesitate to do so... For example, on a rainy day, in a backstage area where security is a concern, or at an izakaya (Japanese pub) after a performance. I am selling it to organize my equipment.
