Fender Japan Stratocaster. It's a JV serial ST57-65. The Candy Apple Red body has no major blemishes and is in beautiful condition for a vintage guitar over 40 years old. There is a "C" stamp in the neck pocket. The headstock has the words "Made In Japan." The pickups are original US VINTAGE. The previous owner stripped the poly finish from the back of the neck, but it has been refinished with XOTIC oil. I think it has a vintage look and a comfortable neck to hold. Once you play a JV serial, you'll understand why its value has increased so much. It produces a surprisingly good sound. The frets show wear, but it's at a level that doesn't affect normal use. It's set up with a 009-42 string set, a regular setup, but the strings are not very good, being made in China, so please change the strings after purchase. I am not the original owner, so there are some details I don't know. Please look at the photos carefully before purchasing. Since it's old, please forgive any crackling in the volume or switch.
