I believe this is Bizen ware, but I'm not sure as it doesn't have a box. There's a carving of the artist's name on the back, but I can't read it. It would be lovely for serving Japanese sweets. The calm, deep green color gives it a luxurious feel. One plate has a chipped corner. The pattern continues, so I'm not sure if it was originally like that. I've included a photo just in case. I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone looking for a tasteful piece of pottery.
