I am currently sorting through inherited items. This is a matcha tea bowl from my grandfather's collection, who was a collector of antiques. It's a stunning piece with a beautiful, flowing white glaze, giving it a very impressive and elegant atmosphere. It's an antique, a piece of old art, a tea ceremony utensil, and a vintage ceramic. It appears to be quite old. There is a mark on the bottom. It was displayed in a decorative shelf in the tea room within the storehouse, so it is likely a very fine item. This is a summer tea bowl, a matcha tea bowl with a strong atmosphere, likely Ko-Shino ware. The bumpy texture of the beautiful glaze is palpable when held, making you want to turn it over and over, a lovely item that evokes affection. The sides feature a magnificent scene painted in a masterful hand, creating a very good impression with a rough atmosphere and a gentle, enveloping flow. Size: 13cm wide, 6.5cm high, a very beautiful and well-balanced item. It's a truly fine item with an antique feel, so I believe you will like it. My grandfather was a hospital director in his lifetime and owned many works, including paintings and ceramics by Living National Treasures, and he boasted about them, so I think they are all very good items. Neither my grandchild nor my mother are very interested in antiques, and we don't know which works are by whom or what kind of ware they are. We don't know if the items we are selling are Imari ware, Kutani ware, Shigaraki ware, or Seto ware. Even if they are wonderful works of art or very expensive items, we have no idea of their value.
