Aurex's Last High-End Power Amplifier with Analog Meters - Meter Display: Analog Meters - Design: Black Finish Front Panel The last high-end model Aurex sold, disregarding profitability. It was used to drive JBL 4313B speakers. While it has good bass weight and sharpness, its clean and transparent mid-high frequencies are its appeal, thanks to the Λ capacitors and clean drive technology. About two years ago, I requested an overhaul at the HO Audio Salon repair center. They found no issues, and the Λ capacitors didn't need to be replaced, but I replaced the relays just in case. Sound output was confirmed via direct input. Output is OK for both speakers A & B. There are minor scratches and scuffs on the top panel, but the front panel is clean considering its age, with no scratches. The blue appearance of the front meters is due to a blue acrylic panel protecting them from scratches and dirt. I liked it because it looked like McIntosh. The panel can be easily removed.
