I was using it without any problems. If you use the hair dryer while shaking it back and forth, the motor's brush, a component, will break due to metal fatigue, so please refrain from using it in that way. It really makes my hair smooth, as you would expect from an expensive hair dryer. It really lives up to its reputation as the flagship model of its time.
