A luxurious, gold-threaded maru obi (round obi) with traditional Japanese patterns. As it is a maru obi, the same embroidery is on both sides. It has a stately, antique feel, and would be suitable for interior decoration. Some deterioration is visible on the tare (hanging end). See images 4 and 5. There are some fold wrinkles in places.
