Authentic antique Eden dolls that have passed over 100 years are very rare to come by. She is wearing shoes with the valuable Eden Bebe stamp. Made of very thin pressed bisque, it has a translucent delicacy when held up to the light. There is a few millimeter kiln mark on the back of the head rim from the manufacturing process. As it is a kiln mark, it is stable and does not progress, and there are no subsequent lines or cracks even when checked with a lamp test. The bisque has some minor scuffs, but overall it has a beautiful and smooth impression. The body has age-related scuffs and small scratches, and some peeling on the surface (part of the hands and back of the arms), but the rubber is well-stretched and easy to handle. The right wrist feels a little tight, so I refrain from moving it too much. There is a slight difference in the length of the legs, but there is no problem when sitting or using a stand. Sitting is stable when a cushion is placed on the back. The original shoes have some cuts. There are signs of aging such as scuffs and fraying of the decorations, but they can be worn as shown in the photos. These are valuable shoes from that time. The dress is also old, with some stains and fraying, but it is a soft color and a cute dress. It is carefully made with an underskirt. Underwear (top and bottom) and a gorgeous bonnet are included. The wig is made of French human hair. It is new and in good condition. Long hair of this size is expensive, but I thought it would give her a soft expression and suit her very well, so I included it. A slightly small cork is included. This doll has spent many years in France and came to Japan through a doll collector friend who loved her. The person who welcomes her will be her first parent in Japan.
