"Mori no Sasayaki" (Whispers of the Forest) is made by aging the original "Kenpachi" shochu for 5 years in oak barrels made from Japanese Konara oak, a tree famous as the "oak tree" and a symbol of Japanese forests. The shochu, distilled under reduced pressure, is then aged for a year before blending. Although the alcohol content is 34%, it has a gentle, easy-to-drink taste that doesn't feel strong.
