I believe it was about 20 years ago. I really wanted it, so I somehow persuaded the shop to sell me a non-sale item at a place like an antique shop or a recycle shop. It's a very old item! There are scratches and discoloration. I don't know what it's used for, but there's a hole in the bottom. I've been displaying it as an ornament. It's an old item. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
