I am selling this bass because I haven't had much opportunity to use it. It's a P-bass type bass made by a domestic builder. I was told at the time of purchase that the body is 2-piece swamp ash and the fingerboard is Brazilian rosewood (Jacaranda). As it's a custom-made instrument, there's no certificate for the Brazilian rosewood, but the grain is quite ideal, so those who know will recognize it as Brazilian rosewood just by looking at it. The finish is a very thin all-lacquer. After purchasing it, I upgraded the pickups to K&T LOM POWER BOMB, the capacitor to a vintage Mustard, the wiring to Oyaide's pure silver single-core wire, the jack to PureTone, and the bridge to FCGR's SP-BB-03. The pickups alone cost around 170,000 yen, so I think it's a great deal. The sound is quite thick, just like a 60's P-bass. The overall weight is about 3.9kg, which is quite light for an ash body. The back of the neck has been changed to a satin finish. It's very easy to play. Neck adjustment, octave adjustment, and pickup adjustment have also been done, so you can play it immediately. It will be shipped in the original semi-hard case. The playability is good, but please consider it as a used item.
